Audience Research

In order to get an idea of what audience we were appealing to with our psychological thriller short film, we did a questionnaire.

This is our questionnaire we asked our class to fill out:

5. What do you think of the characters?

6. Would it meet the genre expectations?

 

The questionnaire made us think about:

1.whether our short film can work?
2.If it could ever be made into a film?3. What our class mates thought of the idea good/bad?
4.If it meets the target audience of 15-30?
5.Finally, if we had included the main parts of the genre; Psychological Thriller 

Why we chose the target audience to be 15-30 was because younger children would find the concept difficult to grasp and some scenes they may find disturbing.

Overall, we feel the questionnaire helped us to improve our short film idea and personally made me feel much more motivated and proud of our research.
